Today we observe Juneteenth, the commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States

Today we observe Juneteenth, the commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. It has been over 150 years since the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, yet Black people are still suffering the effects institutional racism, including being 4 times more likely to enter into homelessness. Why is that, and what can we do to fix it? Please join us in conversation with 3 expert panelists as we discuss the intersection between systemic racism and homelessness, moderated by Antonio Le Mons, Chief Operating Officer of Skid Row Housing Trust.

Expert Panelists:

Amanda Andere, CEO, Funders Together to End Homelessness

John A. Heath, Co-Founder, National Black Professional Lobbyists Association

Jeff Olivet, Founder, Jo Consulting
