This week marks our 8th Virtual Community Meeting, and I am amazed at what your support has allowed us to accomplish in just under two months. From essential hygiene kits to nutritious meal and food deliveries, our residents feel heard and cared for during this crisis. All of this has all been made possible by the community efforts and collaborations that have come together as a result of these meetings, and we thank you!

I invite you to join us at our next virtual meeting, this Thursday, May 21st at 6:30 PM.

You can participate via phone (323) 433-2102 with conference ID: 665 058 50# or online.

For those of you who were unable to be with us last week for our conversation with Kris Kepler from LavaMaeX, Bethany Lueers from Unilever, Buddy Teaster from Soles4Souls, and Kayo Anderson from Los Angeles Community Action Network, you can find the presentation here and the video recording here.

"I never go by one of our handwashing stations and it’s not being used; somebody is there washing their hands, washing their faces. Artists in the area have been employed to decorate the stations, providing an unique art exhibit where its installed."

Kayo Anderson,
Los Angeles Community Action Network

Thank you for your ongoing support and I look forward to our Virtual Community Meeting this week.

Wishing you continued good health,
